This video was made by Josho Brouwers during a visit to Cairo in December of 2012. Cairo and its environs, including the archaeological site of Dashur, is perpetually shrouded by smog, which explains the overal rather brown colour of the sky.

The Red Pyramid is one of the pyramids constructed by King Sneferu (ca. 2600 BC), located at Dashur. In ancient times, Dashur was the location of an ancient necropolis.
